Man Utd plan to recruit ‘Georgian Maradona’ in the winter transfer window to replace Antony and Sancho

Manchester United team plans to recruit emerging winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.

The Georgian player made a strong impression in Serie A in the 2022/23 season, making a big contribution to helping Napoli win the championship.

Currently, MU is looking for a new wing striker to replace Antony and Jadon Sancho. The duo was just dropped from the team for different reasons.

Antony was asked to stay away from MU at this time to deal with abuse allegations from three women.

Meanwhile, Sancho was involved in a public argument with coach Ten Hag, after being removed from the epic match at Arsenal.

Now Kvaratskhelia has emerged as a potential option for the Red Devils. Exclusive sources from Daily Mail said that MU especially “admires” the 22-year-old winger.

However, the Manchester team can only sign a contract with the Georgia international as early as next winter on loan.

MU is having difficulty complying with financial fairness principles (FFP). They need to sell off excess players like Maguire or McTominay to comfortably spend money to buy more.

As for Kvaratskhelia, he is highly appreciated by experts after his excellent performance last season, scoring 14 goals and having 10 assists.

However, Khvicha has not had a chance to celebrate his team since March this year.

Despite recent fluctuations in performance, Napoli will demand a high fee, approximately 100 million Euros, for this emerging star.
