Liverpool won their fifth game in a row in all competitions on Thursday night, beating LASK 3-1 in the Europa League.
However, the Reds had to demonstrate their ability to recover once more. Jurgen Klopp’s players came from behind to win over Bournemouth, Newcastle United, and Wolves in the Premier League.
Darwin Nunez equalized for Liverpool from the spot before Luis Diaz and substitute Mohamed Salah scored. In Group E, Union Saint-Gilloise from Belgium and Toulouse from France drew 1-1.

Ryan Gravenberch’s injury status has been updated after the Liverpool midfielder was forced off on his debut
Jurgen Klopp has allayed fears about Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch’s injury.
The 21-year-old was forced off in the last minutes of his complete Liverpool debut against LASK in the Europa League. The Reds manager, however, has disclosed to TNT Sport that the summer signing suffered from cramp in only his third professional appearance since May.
The Dutchman made an impact for the Reds by beautifully constructing Luis Diaz’s goal and teeing up the Colombian for the second goal, giving Klopp’s side the lead.
Gravenberch made his first start for the Reds after joining on deadline day from Bayern Munich. The Ajax academy graduate turned down the opportunity to play for Holland’s under-21s during the international break and made his debut with a cameo in Saturday’s comeback win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Michael Owen believes Liverpool’s ‘coincidence’ in beating LASK will worry Jurgen Klopp
Michael Owen says Jurgen Klopp is worried after Liverpool had to come from behind to defeat LASK in the Europa League.
The underdogs led at halftime thanks to Florian Flecker’s spectacular half-volley, which gave the Austrian Bundesliga team a surprise lead. Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah put an end to any hopes of an upset in the Reds’ first game of the competition, propelling them to the top of Group E.
It was a familiar feeling for Klopp’s team, who had fallen behind yet again. Liverpool has had to come back from a deficit in four of their previous five games to win, and the same was true of their victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
A bad first half was overcome by a strong second 45 minutes at Molineux, with Cody Gakpo, Andy Robertson, and a Hugo Bueno own-goal keeping Wolves unblemished in the Premier League.
