On the official website, MU fully provided information about Marcus Rashford’s situation after the striker was involved in a car accident.
MU’s announcement: “Marcus is fine and not injured. It was an accidental collision when he left the training field after the match against Burnley. It was an incident involving Rashford’s car and a Local people. Fortunately, both were uninjured and did not need an ambulance.”
For his part, Rashford later shared on his personal Instagram page the following: “3 points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages”
Obviously, this is information that Red Devils fans really want to hear, because they are very upset with the situation behind the scenes of the club after Mason Greenwood, Jadon Sancho, or Antony.
Previously, Rashford, who played the full 90 minutes at Turf Moor, crashed his Rolls Royce while driving home after MU’s victory. The British star was said to be shaken but uninjured after the accident, with a video of a luxury car being crashed going viral on social media.
According to the Express newspaper, captain midfielder Bruno Fernandes stopped to help after passing the scene and seeing his junior’s car was severely damaged. Although police were dispatched to the scene, no one was arrested and no ambulance was needed.
Rashford only has a few days to recover from the unfortunate incident, when MU prepares to host Crystal Palace in the third round of the 2023/24 League Cup in the early morning of September 27. Against Burnley, Rashford played hard but personally did not score any goals. The Red Devils won thanks to Fernandes’s classy volley in the first half.
This season, Rashford was assigned by coach Erik ten Hag to play for MU. However, to be fair, his performance was not convincing. Stability is what the 25-year-old striker has lacked so far. Currently, Rashford has only 1 goal and 1 assist in all competitions for MU in the 2023/24 season.
