On Instagram, Aaron Ramsdale made a subtle response when Jamie Carragher accused him of being fake.

David Raya, who recently replaced Aaron Ramsdale in the starting line-up at Arsenal, made a brilliant first-half save from Tottenham Hotspur’s Brennan Johnson. Ramsdale was seen applauding his teammate with his hands raised above his head before shouting with joy.

That image of Ramsdale caused him to be criticized by Jamie Carragher. Accordingly, on Sky Sports, the former Liverpool midfielder shared that the English goalkeeper had a fake action.

The Arsenal star appeared to personally respond to Carragher’s comments by posting two photos to his personal Instagram story on Monday. Ramsdale’s move shows that it is not unusual for him to praise his teammates.

The first photo is when Ramsdale was still playing for Bournemouth. He celebrated with his teammates after goalkeeper Mark Travers’ excellent performance in the Carabao Cup victory over Forest Green Rovers.

The second photo is the moment the goalkeeper born in 1998 joined Arsenal. He happily shared Reiss Nelson’s 90+7 minute goal against Bournemouth last season.
