Jose Mourinho wants Jadon Sancho from Manchester United to join AS Roma.
According to Il Romanista, Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to AS Roma, with Jose Mourinho reportedly trying to sign him from Manchester United. He joined Manchester United for a staggering £73 million during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s season to assist them bolster their assault.
When it all came together in July 2021 after a fantastic four-year career at Borussia Dortmund (50 goals, 64 assists, and 22 England caps by the age of 21), it was mission achieved for the United leadership.
Ten Hag and Sancho’s arguments grew to the point that the manager felt compelled to leave the winger at home in the 3-1 Premier League loss to Arsenal due to his poor performance in practice.
Despite his protests, there is a sense that Sancho is just not keeping the standards set by his manager during training or games. His limited contribution at United, 12 goals and 6 assists in more than two seasons, pales in comparison to his stats at Dortmund, which catapulted him to stardom.
AS Roma are now 13th in Serie A and appear to be in need of a winger to help them score more goals. Jose Mourinho can save our winger’s career and help him get back on track at the club.
Sancho is a player who requires more playing time, and his move to Roma may provide him with the confidence boost he requires. A player cannot compete in the Premier League until he or she is totally committed. Given United’s current league position of ninth, it will be difficult for any player to retain their spot.
During this time, every player must give their all to help the team score goals and earn the critical three points.
For Sancho, a move to Roma under another world-class manager could be a terrific way to restart his career. Perhaps the Red Devils should consider a loan with a high option/obligation to buy. It would be a win-win situation for both of us.
