Man Utd player ratings vs Crystal Palace: Amrabat successfully debuted in a new position, Casemiro and Mount took turns shining

In MU’s 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace, stars like Sofyan Amrabat, Casemiro, and Mason Mount all left a strong impression.

MU won tickets to the fourth round of the League Cup with an overwhelming 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. This was a much-needed win for the Red Devils after they had a poor start to the season, losing 4/8 matches.

The most impressive performers in this match were the trio of Casemiro, Amrabat, and Mason Mount. Casemiro was voted the best player in the match after he scored 1 goal and had 1 assist for Anthony Martial to score.

Not only that, the Brazilian player also excellently completed the task of intercepting and recovering the ball in the middle of the field to help MU keep a clean sheet.

The person who partnered with Casemiro in the middle of the field in this match, Mason Mount, also had a memorable day. Returning after recovering from injury, the British star immediately proved his value.

Mount was the one who initiated Garnacho’s opening goal. And then, Mount himself took a corner kick that Casemiro jumped high and headed dangerously to double the gap.

Another equally impressive rookie is Amrabat. The Morocco international made his first start for his new team after making his debut in the win over Burnley last weekend.

Being assigned to play in the left-back position is quite strange, but the 27-year-old still completed the task excellently. Amrabat neutralized Palace’s young talent Jesurun Rak-Sakyi in the first half before leaving the field to make way for Dan Gore in the 61st minute.
