‘I Will Even Play as a Goalkeeper’ – Amrabat shows passion for Man Utd after Palace win

Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has stated that he is willing to play in any position for Manchester United, even if it means staying at the club.

On his entire debut, the Fiorentina loanee impressed as Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace to advance in the EFL Cup.

The 27-year-old was deployed as left-back as boss Erik ten Hag put the Moroccan World Cup hero through his paces.

According to the BBC, the Red Devils began their EFL Cup defense with a 3-0 triumph, with goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro, and Anthony Martial.

Amrabat made his Premier League debut for Manchester United against Burnley, coming on in the second half of the 1-0 victory at Turf Moor.

Erik ten Hag is looking for more from Alejandro Garnacho

Erik ten Hag had already told Alejandro Garnacho that his prior efforts this season had been “not good enough” after the Manchester United teenager scored in Tuesday’s League Cup triumph over Crystal Palace.

United relieved Ten Hag’s pressure by defeating Palace 3-0 in the third round at Old Trafford after winning 1-0 at Burnley on Saturday.

Garnacho put United ahead in the first half with a brilliant finish from Diogo Dalot’s cross, before Casemiro and Anthony Martial sealed the win.
