‘Climactic moment’: Chelsea is ready to increase to ‘crazy offer’ get ‘Cavani’s descendant’

Goncalo Ramos, a 21-year-old attacker who is wanted by Manchester United, is now up for grabs by Chelsea. According to a Football Insider report, Chelsea is interested in hiring Goncalo Ramos. Since his exploits at the FIFA World Cup 2022, the 21-year-old has become the talk of the town. And Manchester United was eager to add him to their team. They will, however, have to contend with the Blues.

The current season has seen a considerable increase in Ramos’ stock price. He has made 35 goal contributions in 37 appearances. The 21-year-old has 10 assists under his belt in addition to 25 goals and 25 goals scored.

Despite having a fantastic club season, he gained notoriety for his World Cup performance for Portugal. The Benfica attacker scored three goals while representing Portugal versus Switzerland in the round of 16 of the international competition. He took the field before Cristiano Ronaldo and succeeded on the grandest stage of them all.

Ramos has been associated with Benfica since he was a young child. He has advanced through the club’s levels and become a crucial player. And right now, he’s one of the most sought-after properties in the world because to his heroics in the current season.

One of the teams interested in the 21-year-old is Chelsea. They view him as a great replacement for one of their goals, Victor Osimhen. The Blues are aware that Osimhen will set them back over £100 million, while the international from Portugal may be yours for about £70 million.

In the last recent transfer windows, the Blues have added a lot of players. Yet, on-field performances have not improved. Graham Potter was recently fired, and they have requested club legend and former manager Frank Lampard to take over as interim manager until the end of the current campaign.

The team is conscious of the fact that they require a new pure striker. They believe the 21-year-old would be a wonderful addition to their team. Also, the fact that he is represented by the same firm, Gestifute, that also represents Joao Felix, may be advantageous to their argument.

They will, however, have to compete with Manchester United, who have been monitoring the Portugal international for some time. They require a second goal scorer to complement Marcus Rashford, and Erik ten Hag is fully aware of this.

Ten Hag wants Ramos to join his team because he wants to address the forward position. The signing of the 21-year-old could be the best course of action for the Red Devils given the uncertainty surrounding Anthony Martial’s future and Wout Weghorst’s impending return to his original club.
