Origi has become a cult icon at Anfield as a result of his multiple critical goals in Liverpool’s history under Klopp. The 28-year-old scored critical late goals, including two in the dramatic comeback triumph over Barcelona. The Belgium international also scored late goals against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final.

Origi was favored by Klopp as a player and as a person, and he served as a “super-sub” for the Reds. The 28-year-old never let the German down with his ability to make an impact and swing the game in Liverpool’s favor.

In the summer of 2014, Liverpool signed Origi from Lille and loaned him back to the French club for a year. During the season, former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was in command of the Merseyside giants. The teenager went through ups and downs before emerging as a crucial difference-maker under Jurgen Klopp.
