Isn’t Darwin Nunez having a fantastic season at Liverpool?

The 24-year-old Uruguay international was highly lambasted during his debut season last season, but he appears to have finally acclimated to the English game.

Nunez came off the bench against Bournemouth, but the tough conditions forced Jurgen Klopp to put on the big guns to pull his team over the line.

With the scores equal and the weather making things difficult, Liverpool needed a spark from someone, and Nunez delivered.

Nunez chased and picked up the ball after failing to control a pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold, drove at the Bournemouth defender, and scored an incredible stunner.

It’s perhaps his best goal in a Liverpool shirt thus far, and a number of his teammates congratulated him on Instagram. Even his country’s icon, Luis Suarez, praised him.

“BREATHTAKING beast!” he exclaimed.

Nunez has been on fire for Liverpool

Darwin Nunez was written off by many following his tough debut season for Liverpool last season.

The Uruguayan has always been a tremendous talent, but others believe he squandered far too many opportunities. His miss versus Toulouse was dubbed “laughable.”

Nunez’s numbers this season, on the other hand, are nothing short of remarkable. He has seven goals and five assists in just seven starts for Liverpool, which is an incredible return.

Nunez demonstrated his class once more last night, and we believe he has earned the right to start against Luton Town this weekend. We’d be astonished if he doesn’t score on them.
