His performances have sparked talk that he could be a target for his departing boss, with Erik ten Hag poised to join United at the conclusion of the season.
United will be looking for new attackers this summer, according to interim manager Ralf Rangnick, who believes the club will need at least two more quality signings in attack. With a number of Ten Hag’s former and current players linked with a move to Old Trafford, Antony might be one of those of interest.On Thursday, the 22-year-old was photographed arriving in France on an aircraft with his agent, Emerson Santos. Antony’s spokesperson shared a photo of the two of them on a plane in Nanterre, a Paris suburb.
“Side by side if you win to support you if you lose!” Emerson captioned the post. Antony added: “Always together I love you brother.”
Never missing an opportunity, United fans were quick to pile on the post as they sent replies urging Antony to join Ten Hag at Old Trafford this summer. The winger was greeted with messages like ‘come to Man United’, ‘Man United here we go’ and ‘welcome to Manchester United’.

Ten Hag recently suggested he could be in the market for some of his Ajax stars this summer, and suggested there is nothing stopping him from signing Antony. “There is no agreement in place that would exclude me from taking players to Man Utd,” he recently told WeTalkAjax. “Which Ajax players are interesting? I have very good players here.”
