Silver Eagle of Italy is main summer target for Man United

In the competition to recruit Federico Chiesa from Juventus, Manchester United trails Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich.

Federico Chiesa may be available to sign with Manchester United and Bayern Munich this summer, according to Calciomercatoweb. A lot of clubs have been vying for the services of Juventus’ 25-year-old winger recently, leaving his future unknown. And €90,000,000 will be plenty to retain his services.

According to the report, Bayern Munich is in front of Manchester United in the race to sign the Italian international. Since joining Juventus in October 2020, Chiesa has been a part of the team. He initially agreed to a two-year loan with a buyout option.

During his successful tenure at the club, Juventus exercised the €40m purchase option. Then in the summer of 2022, the in-demand winger was permanently acquired from Fiorentina. Chiesa has played for the Old Lady in 79 games and has contributed to 38 goals.

When he first arrived at Juventus, he was in top form. But, injuries have recently caused a slowdown in activity. The 25-year-old has endured numerous injuries and has not been able to fully recover.

The former Fiorentina winger has made 18 appearances this season, but in only 670 of those minutes, he has contributed to six goals. In front of goal, the 25-year-old is still productive enough. He might definitely rank among the top players in the world if he is able to get back to full fitness.

He has recently struggled with injuries, but the Bianconeri want to keep him at the club. They have faith in the Italian international to make things better. The Old Woman, though, might think about selling him if they do get a really high offer for his services. A transfer away from the club in the summer may very possibly happen for a cost of about €90m.

One of the teams that is eager to have Chiesa join their ranks is Manchester United. According to rumors, they tried to sign him in January but were unsuccessful in doing so. In the summer, the Red Devils might hire him again.

A new offensive partner for Marcus Rashford is something Erik ten Hag is looking for before the start of the following season. Moreover, Chiesa might be a terrific addition to his team. In the competition to hire him, Manchester United is trailing Bayern Munich.

Their new manager, Thomas Tuchel, wanted to bring Chiesa to Chelsea but was unable to do so. Now that he wants him at Bayern, they have a great chance of luring him away from Juventus. Anyone Bayern signs in the summer will be heavily influenced by Tuchel. The Italian winger is reportedly a player the German manager would like to have at his disposal. It will be intriguing to see if Juventus can hold onto their star in this regard.

ETH already has ‘perfect’ Eriksen replacement as decisive talks hold

Marcel Sabitzer, a Manchester United loanee, is eager to join the team permanently, and there will be “decisive talks” in the upcoming weeks.

When it became clear that Christian Eriksen would miss time with an injury earlier this year on deadline day, Sabitzer transferred from Bayern Munich to Old Trafford.

The 29-year-old has since made 11 appearances for the Red Devils, making his club debut in an FA Cup quarterfinal triumph over Fulham.

The international player from Austria signed a loan agreement that ran through the end of the current campaign and lacked a summer buyout clause. Nonetheless, it appears like Sabitzer might decide to stay in England before Erik ten Hag’s second season as manager.

On Wednesday, Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg posted on Twitter what he had learned about Sabitzer’s future. He said that the player is “comfortable” in Manchester and appears eager for a long-term deal, saying that a return to Germany appears doubtful.

He is at ease with MUFC and can envision joining Man Utd on a permanent basis, according to News Sabitzer. Yet nothing was resolved. The following weeks will see decisive conversations. At this point, returning to Munich seems doubtful. Several Premier League clubs reportedly made inquiries about him.

Sabitzer should Man United acquire him

Sabitzer’s temporary hiring by Old Trafford has turned out to be a wise option, especially in light of Eriksen’s injury and Casemiro’s two Premier League suspensions.

Since his arrival, he has played in all but one of the eight top-flight games, and Diogo Dalot has called him a “machine” for his average of 1.6 tackles and 1.4 clearances per game, according to WhoScored. With a match average rating of 6.77/10, Sabitzer has been United’s eighth-best performer, outperforming players like Fred, Eriksen, and Scott McTominay.

Since Casemiro and Eriksen are already two experienced midfielders, a full-time contract might make sense. However, the player will turn 30 later this year, so the Red Devils must determine whether or not giving him a long-term contract and paying a fee for his services would be wise in the long run.

Even if that might come up in discussions in the following weeks, it appears as though Sabizter would continue to play for United in the 2023–24 season if given the chance.
