Kevin Durant sends the crowd crazy with ‘Big Dunk’ during Grizzlies-Suns game

The Phoenix Suns will play the Memphis Grizzlies in Arizona on Sunday evening.

Kevin Durant returned to the court after a three-game layoff, and he had a massive first-half highlight.

As Jaren Jackson Jr. tried to protect the rim, Durant drove directly to the basket and slammed down a two-handed dunk.

In 28 games, Durant averaged 29.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 52.5% from the field and 47.7% from three-point range.

With a 19-16 record in their first 35 games, the Suns earned the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 6-4 in their previous ten games, most recently defeating the Miami Heat 113-97.

Following the Grizzlies, the Suns will travel to Los Angeles to face James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday evening.

They are 8-6 in 14 games played on the road, while they are 11-10 in 21 games played at home.

The Grizzlies are the 13th seed in the Western Conference after going 12-23 in their first 35 games.

They are 6-4 in their previous ten games, most recently defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 127-113.

Jackson Jr. led the squad with 31 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and three blocks while shooting 11/14 from the field and 5/6 from beyond the arc.

 

Following the Suns, the Grizzlies will travel to Dallas to face the Mavericks on Tuesday.
