The Phoenix Suns will host the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday evening in Arizona.
Kevin Durant is playing in his 1,019th career game, moving him past Hall of Famer Joe Dumars for sole possession of 136th on the NBA’s all-time regular season games played list.
Following Dumars, Durant will pass to Nicolas Batum (1,021).
In 32 games, Durant averaged 29.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.1 blocks while shooting 52.6% from the field and 46.9% from three-point range.
The Suns are the Western Conference’s eighth seed, with a 21-18 record through 39 games.
They are 7-3 in their previous ten games and currently on a two-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Suns defeated the Portland Trail Blazers (in Oregon) 127-116.
Durant recorded 21 points, five rebounds, and six assists in 38 minutes of play, shooting 8/16 from the field and 2/5 from three.
Following the Kings, the Suns will pay a visit to Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana on Friday.
Durant is in his second season with the Suns, after being dealt (via the Brooklyn Nets) in February.
He has previously played for the Nets and Suns, as well as the Oklahoma City Thunder/Seattle SuperSonics and the Golden State Warriors.
His career averages are 27.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game, while he shoots 50.0% from the field and 38.7% from three.
