Klay Thompson Proudly Shows Off His Old-School Lincoln Continental, Seafarer Landed Him On Front Pages Outside Of The Basketball

How about Klay Thompson? He’s better renowned for his boating tastes than his automotive preferences.

His activity as a sailor has landed him on the top pages outside of basketball. He’s so identified with boats that other NBA players want him to take them out on the wide sea, and he even organizes boat outings for charity.

While it appears that boats are Thompson’s major focus, he also has a few remarkable cars in his garage. No, not his Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Let’s be honest: G-Wagens are extremely common among celebrities.

We’re discussing his classic Lincoln Continental. Look:

We’re not certain, but the unit he’s showing off appears to be a fourth-generation model, judging by the chrome bit at the front. The wheels are plainly aftermarket, but otherwise, everything appears to be in order.

Thompson’s article also pays respect to Will Ferrell’s character ‘Frank the Tank’ in 2003’s Old School. “I removed the restrictor plate to give the Red Dragon a bit extra juice. But let’s keep that quiet. “She is not exactly street legal.”
