The Suns are supposedly acquiring a seasoned 3-and-D player. According to various sources, Phoenix is completing a trade with Brooklyn and Memphis that will send Royce O’Neale to the Suns.

Three future second-round selectionsWhat Trade Means: Phoenix adds another player to their bench in O’Neale, who is averaging 7.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in 49 games this season. The seven-year NBA veteran is an effective wing defender with a career 3-point shooting percentage of 38.1%.
The Suns also signed Roddy, a 6-foot-4 forward in his second NBA season. Roddy has an average of 8.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 48 games with Memphis this season.
The Grizzlies re-sign Watanabe, a 6-foot-9 big who began his career with Memphis. He is averaging 3.6 points per game and shooting 32% from three, compared to a career-high 44.4% last season.
