LIVERPOOL returned to the top of the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over Burnley.
The Reds replied to Manchester City’s victory over Everton earlier today, moving into top place by two points.
Diogo Jota opened the score with a bullet header.
Luis Diaz dipped low to go by James Trafford. Liverpool’s front three all scored, and Darwin Nunez sealed the three points. Liverpool got off to a strong start, with Diogo Jota scoring from a corner kick. 
However, the Clarets equalized just before halftime when Dara O’Shea hammered another header into the top corner.
Liverpool took the lead when Luis Diaz poked in, leaving Vincent Kompany seething because he felt there was a foul in the buildup.
