Messi was upset that his false words were being disseminated on social media.
Messi, the world’s best player, must deal with a slew of unfounded rumors. Many “fake news” stories concerning Messi have been made in order to capture the attention of supporters.
Before the MLS match against Orlando City, Messi expressed irritation about a bogus news item concerning his kid Mateo.
Accordingly, an Instagram account titled Mercado Deportivo Argentina cited Messi’s statement: “There are a number of academies that want to acquire my kid Mateo. But I signed Mateo up for Inter Miami’s academy. Mateo has skill, and I believe his playing style is comparable to mine from when I was younger.”
Fans responded enthusiastically to Mercado Deportivo Argentina’s post regarding Messi. After just one day, “Messi’s statement” had over 15,000 likes.
However, the Argentine star confirmed that he was “put words in his mouth”.
“They’ve grossly misconstrued it. “I’ve never said anything like that,” Messi stated.
Messi has stated that he did not force his three boys, Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, to pursue their father’s football career.
Messi once said on Apple TV+, “I want my children to love football and continue to play it.” On the other hand, I understand that this is a difficult sport, and not everyone is fortunate enough to become a professional player.
Messi’s two oldest boys, Thiago (12) and Mateo (9), are presently practicing with Inter Miami’s junior system. According to estimates, Thiago and Mateo have some potential but aren’t particularly enthusiastic about football.
This is not the first time Messi has come across bogus news. In May of last year, the media stated that Messi had agreed to join Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal Club. However, Messi’s father, Jorge, instantly refuted it, claiming it was fake news.
