Sporting CP veteran Manuel Fernandes feels that if striker Viktor Gyökeres quits the club, he may head to Liverpool. Gyökeres, who joined Sporting for about $22 million in July, has dazzled with 22 goals and 10 assists in 25 games.
While Gyökeres expressed satisfaction with Sporting, Fernandes envisions a future move to a ‘major’ club such as Liverpool or Bayern Munich. Liverpool.com reports that Liverpool may pursue Gyökeres soon, despite recent investments and a rumored high price of over $92 million.
