Liverpool maintains their tradition of recruiting the offspring of prominent Premier League figures, as they secure the services of a promising young talent who netted an impressive 90 goals in a single season.

Liverpool continues its trend of signing the offspring of former Premier League players, and the latest addition is Keyrol Figueroa. The 17-year-old, son of former Wigan defender Maynor Figueroa, has officially signed his first professional contract with the club. Despite a loss to Germany in the last 16, Figueroa demonstrated his skills on the international stage. Liverpool already has several sons of former Premier League players in their ranks. Lewis Koumas, Jayden Danns, and Bobby Clark, whose fathers had successful careers in the league, have all featured for the club this season. While Figueroa has shown a keen eye for goal, his father Maynor was known more for his defensive abilities during his playing career. Maynor represented Wigan Athletic and Hull City in the Premier League, making over 200 appearances. However, he did score a memorable long-range free-kick goal from his own half against Stoke City, which drew praise from his manager Roberto Martinez for its technicality and audacity.
