Alisson – 6 (out of 10)

Alisson had a subpar game, being beaten by strong strikes from Tielemans and Diaby. He seemed to lack protection from a frequently disorganized defense. He made some errors, including a poor pass that led to a Villa chance, but also made a phenomenal injury-time save.

Jarell Quansah – 6

Virgil van Dijk – 5

Virgil van Dijk had a decent game in duels but was kept relatively quiet by Villa’s tactics.

Playing at left-back, Joe Gomez had moments of quality, including an assist, but struggled defensively and lacked organization.

Wataru Endo – 5

Wataru Endo had an average performance, being decent on the ball but not exerting much influence off it.

Alexis Mac Allister showcased sporadic moments of brilliance but also had lapses in concentration that cost Liverpool late in the game.

Cody Gakpo was the standout player, scoring and displaying physicality, benefiting from the lack of defensive resistance from both teams.

Luis Diaz – 5

The substitutes, including Dominik Szoboszlai, Darwin Nunez, Curtis Jones, and Ryan Gravenberch, had limited impact. Klopp, avoiding a yellow card that would have resulted in a ban for his farewell match, made predictable team selections and gave chances to certain players to impress. Overall, the result was disappointing due to defensive lapses and a lack of concentration, ending the campaign on a low note.
