Diaz (27 years old) joined the “Reds” from Porto in a £37.5 million deal in January 2022. Meanwhile, Gomez, who has just had an outstanding season, has been at Anfield since 2015. In fact, Saudi Arabian clubs have targeted these two players since last summer but were rejected by Liverpool.

Clubs in the Saudi Pro League were closely linked with Salah last summer, and Al-Ittihad even made a mega offer of £150 million. However, Liverpool turned down this proposal, despite the Saudi Pro League’s continued interest.

Salah has one year left on his contract at Anfield and still has to wait to see the progress of renewal negotiations. Although not confirmed, the Egyptian striker has hinted at the possibility of staying at Liverpool in a social media post.

“We know that trophies are important, and we will do everything we can to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it, and we will fight for it,” Salah’s post quoted.
