Following the debut of the Predator 24 ‘Pure Strike’ by adidas, the brand organized an event featuring Trent Alexander-Arnold, inviting numerous Liverpool football enthusiasts to the Tiber Football Centre in Toxteth for the ’66 Second Challenge’.
This event marked the official unveiling of the adidas Predator 24 ‘Pure Strike’, the distinctive colorway associated with Trent Alexander-Arnold since his signing with the Three Stripes in November. In celebration of this launch, adidas welcomed a large gathering of Liverpool football enthusiasts to participate in the ’66 Second Challenge’ at the Tiber Football Centre in Toxteth. Participants were tasked with volleying a ball launched at them into a target within 66 seconds, with the opportunity to win a pair of Trent’s exclusive adidas Predator colorway for themselves and their friends.
As the challenge kicked off, Trent Alexander-Arnold made a surprise appearance to inspire the participants. Offering expert advice, words of encouragement, and even lending a hand with a few assists, Alexander-Arnold observed the city’s finest as they attempted to replicate his iconic ball-striking technique.
Reflecting on the event, Alexander-Arnold expressed, “These boots hold special significance for me, so I wanted to ensure that earning a pair required genuine effort! Everyone enjoys a skill-based challenge, and I wanted to bring back one of my favorite childhood games – the 60-second challenge. The level of technique displayed tonight was impressive, and now all the winners will proudly wear these boots as a symbol of their achievement when they step onto the pitch.”
