This was a golden chance for Spain to break the deadlock, but once again, the ball narrowly missed the post. Situations like these must have left the Spanish players feeling regretful, as they created dangerous opportunities but failed to convert them.
In the 37th minute, Fabian Ruiz demonstrated his power with a long-range shot. The ball was struck with venom, but once again, Donnarumma made an impressive save. This was certainly a remarkable performance from the AC Milan goalkeeper. He has been displaying excellent concentration, rendering the shooting attempts of Spain futile.
