YOUNG GENERATION DEVELOPMENT: Kylian and Ethan Mbappé, along with 200 other young people, participated in the “Victory Mode” tour, which aims to encourage youth participation in sports

Nike has joined forces with renowned football player Kylian Mbappé and his foundation, Inspired By Kylian Mbappé, to host a sports day in Paris, aiming to inspire thousands of young athletes and promote their best performance through sports.

On a sunny Sunday, May 5, more than 2,000 teenagers gathered in front of the iconic Nike House of Innovation on the Champs Elysées to engage in various sports challenges such as running, breakdancing, tennis, football, and basketball. The event provided an opportunity for these young athletes to interact with their role model, Kylian Mbappé, who is also an ambassador for Nike.

Kylian Mbappé expressed his satisfaction with the success of the event, stating that a year ago, he had envisioned organizing a sports challenge with 2,024 young individuals on the renowned avenue. He credited Nike for helping turn this vision into reality and emphasized the shared values and ambitions between his foundation and the brand — inspiring youth to give their best through sports.

This event marks the first phase of Nike’s “Victory Mode” tour, which aims to introduce young people in Île-de-France to new sports and engage them in inspiring challenges. The tour will continue on May 18 in Nanterre, celebrating the return of basketball player Victor Wembanyama to France. Five additional dates in the wider Paris area are scheduled for June and July, with the grand finale taking place at Centre Pompidou on August 11.

Kylian Mbappé expressed his gratitude towards the great champions who have inspired him throughout his career and his desire to pass on these values to the next generation. He emphasized that the “victory mode” is about pushing one’s limits to achieve greatness and be the best.

The “Victory Mode” events are organized in collaboration with Golden Blocks, Nike’s longstanding partner in France, and are open to all. Participants can register for the events through the Nike Paris app and Nike.com.
