Kylian Mbappe’s younger brother quickly found a new club after leaving PSG

Lille signed Ethan Mbappe, the younger brother of superstar Kylian Mbappe, after he left Paris Saint Germain.

After Kylian Mbappe signed with Real Madrid as a free agent this summer, it was expected that his younger brother, Ethan, would also leave PSG. Lille emerged as the leading option to sign this 17-year-old midfielder, and the Ligue 1 club has just formally announced a successful transfer.

Lille stated that the young French star has agreed to a three-year contract with the club until the summer of 2027. This is Ethan’s first professional deal; previously, he only played for the PSG youth squad and made five appearances on the pitch for the main team. According to Lille’s official release, Ethan will wear shirt number 29 for his debut season away from Parc des Princes.

Ethan told club reporters after signing the contract: “I’m very happy to join LOSC. I am excited to begin this new adventure, meet my new teammates and coaching staff, and believe that staying in France is the greatest option for my development at my age. “I’m so proud to play here.”

Throughout his time at PSG, Ethan was usually overshadowed by his outstanding sibling. This 17-year-old player aims to break free from his shadow and build a name for himself by transferring to a new station.
