The centre-back makes the yearly XI, which is voted for by the country’s professional players, for the fourth time since joining the Reds in January 2018.
Van Dijk was also chosen by his peers for 2019, 2020, and 2022.
Last season, the Netherlands captain made 36 league appearances, scoring twice, as Liverpool finished third in the Premier League and qualified for the Champions League.
Van Dijk also scored the winning goal in extra time as the Reds upset Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley Stadium to win the Carabao Cup in February, in his first year as captain.
His inclusion in the most recent Team of the Year was confirmed tonight at the 2024 PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.
