Arsenal’s winger Bukayo Saka has surpassed Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling, and Cristiano Ronaldo by reaching his 100th Premier League victory. In their recent match against Aston Villa, Arsenal secured a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey. Although Saka had an impressive game, he didn’t score, yet he celebrated his 100th Premier League win.
At 22 years and 354 days old, Saka becomes the third youngest player in Premier League history to achieve this milestone, just over four days older than Foden, who was previously third on the list. Wayne Rooney remains the youngest player to reach this achievement at 22 years and 87 days. Close behind him is Cesc Fabregas, the former Arsenal star and current head coach of Serie A club Como, who reached 100 wins at 22 years and 180 days.
Raheem Sterling hit the 100-win mark at 23 years and 15 days, while Cristiano Ronaldo achieved it at 23 years and 25 days.
Saka’s position as one of Arsenal’s youngest players to reach 100 Premier League wins is notable. He ranks third, following Fabregas and Cliff Bastin. Bastin set the record in September 1934, reaching his 100th win at 22 years and 171 days, making him the youngest Arsenal player to do so. While both Fabregas and Bastin marked their 100th win with goals, Saka didn’t score against Aston Villa. Nevertheless, his impact was significant, as he assisted in both of Arsenal’s goals—providing a pass leading to Trossard’s goal and setting up Partey’s finish.
Despite reaching his 100th Premier League win at a young age, Saka’s journey wasn’t the quickest. His 100th win came in his 172nd appearance, which is less impressive compared to Foden, who achieved this milestone in just 127 matches—a testament to Manchester City’s dominance during his time at the club. Following Foden are Bernardo Silva (129 appearances), and Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ederson (both achieving 100 wins in 130 appearances).
