TOP TRENDING: Arsenal is set to sign Liverpool’s goal-scoring forward, despite him recently receiving a suspension, to replace Benjamin Šeško.

Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez is now a target for Arsenal, as the London club is keen on securing a new center-forward before the summer transfer window closes. According to Fichajes, the Uruguayan forward could become Arsenal’s next signing this summer, potentially making it a major Premier League transfer given his current status with Liverpool.Liverpool Garis Keras - LGK on X: "️ Darwin Nunez to Arsenal, here we go! If the move goes through, Núñez would be Arsenal’s fourth acquisition of the summer, following the arrivals of David Raya, Riccardo Calafiori, and more recently Mikel Merino. This potential signing is seen as a way to refresh the attack, especially with Gabriel Jesus sidelined and Eddie Nketiah having moved to Crystal Palace. With no ideal striker available, manager Mikel Arteta has temporarily shifted Kai Havertz into the center-forward role. Arsenal had previously shown interest in Núñez when he was at Benfica but were outpaced by Liverpool in the summer transfer window of 2022. Currently, with Núñez seemingly lacking a secure spot in Liverpool’s lineup under new manager Arne Slot, Arsenal sees an opportunity.Có thể là hình ảnh về 1 người, đang chơi bóng bầu dục, đang chơi bóng đá và văn bản

After two rounds of the 2024/25 Premier League season, Slot’s favored attacking trio consists of Jota, Díaz, and Salah, with Núñez having played only 18 minutes across those games. It is speculated that Liverpool might allow Núñez to leave for around €73 million, significantly less than the €100 million they spent to sign him from Benfica.
