MEMORIES REVEALED: Alexis Mac Allister explained about his tattto’s meaning on his left arm, and promised of having a LLFC tatoo in the future

Alexis Mac Allister has big plans for his tattoo collection, starting with a tribute to his World Cup victory. The Liverpool midfielder, known for his love of body art, has already adorned nearly his entire left arm with meaningful tattoos.

In an interview for Carlsberg’s Inked series, Mac Allister shared that his tattoos have personal significance beyond their aesthetic appeal. He has tattoos commemorating his birth year (’98), his passion for football, and the names of his parents and two older brothers. He also plans to add a tattoo for his sister soon, acknowledging her importance to him.

“I like how tattoos look, but for me, they have a deeper meaning,” Mac Allister told Liverpoolfc.com. “Loyalty from my family is crucial. They support me through good and bad times, and I want to honor that.”

His tattoo collection also includes religious imagery, significant dates from his career, and a phrase in Spanish that translates to ‘trust yourself and your people.’ One tattoo he slightly regrets is a roulette wheel, which some interpret as a nod to gambling, though Mac Allister clarifies it represents shirt numbers used by him and his brothers.

Looking ahead, Mac Allister plans to add more tattoos, including one to commemorate his World Cup triumph and another celebrating his time with Liverpool. “I want to get my World Cup tattoo first, and then something for Liverpool. I felt a strong connection with this club from day one and am thrilled to be here. A trophy-themed tattoo would be ideal—perhaps on my leg. I hope we can win something this year so I can add it.”
