Declan Rice has ventured into photography, creating a secret Instagram account to showcase his snaps. The Arsenal and England star, who has been pivotal for Mikel Arteta since his £105 million transfer from West Ham last year, is now exploring new interests beyond football.
Rice’s newly established account, @dr.jpg, features a bio that reads, “Every taken by me .” Despite only two posts so far, both showcase a range of images. The first post, shared earlier this week, includes behind-the-scenes shots from the England dressing room following their 2-0 victory over Fulham. Notable figures in the photos include Player of the Match Trent Alexander-Arnold, debutant Noni Madueke, and veteran skipper Harry Kane. Rice captioned this post, “First game behind the lens. v .”
The second post highlights moments from a golf outing with friends, simply tagged as “Golf life.”
Rice will be absent for Arsenal’s North London derby against Tottenham on Sunday due to a red card received in a 1-1 draw with Brighton before the international break. However, he is expected to return for Arsenal’s Champions League opener against Atalanta on Thursday.
Arsenal’s subsequent fixture will be a clash with champions Manchester City, but they might be without captain Martin Ødegaard, who was seen leaving on crutches after an injury during Norway’s 2-1 win over Austria.
