Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold is being eyed by Real Madrid, who are planning to assemble a new Galacticos squad next season.
After five years of financial restructuring, the club is ready to invest in a new wave of star players. According to The Independent, Alexander-Arnold, 25, is a top target as they seek a long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal. With his contract expiring this summer, he can negotiate with foreign clubs starting in January.
Real Madrid is also interested in bolstering their midfield with Manchester City’s Rodri, especially with City facing multiple Financial Fair Play charges. The 28-year-old is reportedly keen to return to Spain while still at his peak and could serve as an excellent replacement for Toni Kroos.
Additionally, with Nacho leaving for Saudi Arabia, Arsenal’s William Saliba has emerged as a prime candidate for a new center-back. Long-time target Alphonso Davies may also join, as he is set to be a free agent from Bayern Munich and seems unlikely to sign a new contract.
These potential additions could mark the beginning of a new Champions League-winning era for Carlo Ancelotti’s team. Alexander-Arnold could take the starting right-back position, with Davies on the left, while Saliba partners with Antonio Rudiger in defense, and Rodri joins Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham in midfield.
