Liverpool’s new signing Darwin Nunez displayed his impressive physique during a fishing trip with teammates while the squad is in Austria for pre-season training. The Reds will face RB Salzburg in a friendly match on Wednesday. Nunez recently made headlines by scoring four goals in a 5-0 victory against RB Leipzig.
Off the field, he also made waves by catching a massive fish, but it was his chiseled body that truly captured fans’ attention, prompting one admirer to remark, “Darwin’s physique is absurd.” Goalkeeper Alisson also caught a large fish, sharing a video of his struggle with the creature.
Teammates Konstantinos Tsimikas, Roberto Firmino, and Luis Diaz joined in the fishing fun, with Tsimikas posting a picture alongside Alisson and his own hefty catch, captioned, “Myself with two giants.” Klopp praised Nunez for his standout performance against Leipzig, noting the pressure that comes with a hefty price tag. 
He emphasized that players are human and can feel the weight of expectations, especially with social media scrutiny.
