Although he has been wearing New Balance shoes for over six months, Harvey Elliott, a player on loan from Liverpool, has not been officially recognized as a representative of the brand.

After being spotted wearing the brand’s boots for over six months, Liverpool loanee Harvey Elliott has officially been announced as a New Balance athlete, joining their growing roster of players.

Elliott’s contract with Nike ended last year, leading him to test various boots as he sought a new brand. By September, he was seen sporting New Balance boots during Liverpool’s 7-2 preseason victory over Blackpool, where he scored. Clearly comfortable with them, Elliott continued to wear New Balance boots throughout his loan spell with Blackburn. Despite this, his association with the brand hadn’t been officially confirmed until now.he 3-min.jpg

At just 18 years old, Elliott has already achieved several milestones in his career, including becoming Fulham FC’s youngest player at 15, the Premier League’s youngest debutant at 16 years and 30 days, and the youngest player to start a match for Liverpool FC. His signing adds to New Balance’s impressive lineup, following their recent acquisition of Bukayo Saka.he 2-min.jpg

Elliott expressed his excitement about the new partnership, saying, “Signing with New Balance is a huge step in my career. I’m pleased with my performances this season, but I’m also focused on improving and reaching new heights. It’s great to work with a global brand that supports my ambitions.”he 7-min.jpg

Elliott will continue to wear the Furon v6+, specifically his custom red and black colorway, which he’s been using since November. New Balance appears to be taking a unique approach by having unsigned players wear standout boots, potentially signaling a new strategy to attract talent.
