According to Inter-Live, Arsenal is willing to swap Takehiro Tomiyasu to secure a deal for forward Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. The Gunners are experiencing some issues in their attack, prompting Mikel Arteta to seek a top striker in the near future. They have been linked with several forwards from Serie A, with Marcus Thuram being the latest name added to their shopping list.
Additionally, Arsenal has not ruled out pursuing Vlahovic, a player they failed to sign in January 2022 before he opted to join Juventus from Fiorentina.
Currently, Vlahovic remains a target for Arteta, and the club is reportedly planning to recruit the 24-year-old striker, offering Tomiyasu as part of the deal. Arsenal has plenty of defensive options and would not be overly concerned if the Japanese player departs.
Tomiyasu may also have to be ‘sacrificed’ for Arsenal to secure Thuram from Inter Milan. However, the 25-year-old defender needs to regain his fitness after a prolonged absence.
