With a massive brawl, Arsenal vs. Manchester United became mayhem like the good old days.
Throughout the FA Cup match at the Emirates, which the visitors won on penalties despite being reduced to 10 men after Diogo Dalot’s second yellow card, tensions between the two bitter rivals erupted.
After Arsenal was given a penalty, the second half became quite heated. 😡
Diogo Dalot was sent off for a second yellow after Bruno Fernandes was booked for hurling his boot in rage, and the Red Devils were incensed when Andy Madley gave Arsenal a penalty.
With 20 minutes remaining, Kai Havertz and Harry Maguire got into a brawl in the vicinity, and Havertz went down quietly.
Before the Arsenal attacker fell and Madley controversially pointed to the spot, the defender extended his arm as Havertz attempted to squeeze through.
The decision could not be overturned because there was no VAR to review the incident.
Then there was a serious altercation between the two teams.
Some viewers believe Raging Maguire dubbed the German a “cheat” because he was so enraged by Havertz’s easy defeat and pursued him as the fight progressed.
However, Gabriel intervened and pushed Maguire as the former United captain attempted to argue with Havertz.
Then, Havertz and Manuel Ugarte got into a fight.
Replays show that the Uruguayan appeared to thrust his head forward into his opponent as they both ended up on the deck in tumultuous scenes.
In the aftermath, Madley booked Maguire, Gabriel, and Havertz after monitoring the mayhem.
When the game eventually resumed, Altay Bayindir threw himself over to save Martin Odegaard’s penalty, adding to the tension.

When Gabriel Jesus clipped Fernandes on the edge of the box in the first half, Madley failed to award a free-kick, and Fernandes threw his boot twice, risking his fourth red card of the season.
Despite getting a yellow card, he remained vitally on the field and helped to score the first goal in spectacular fashion.
However, the game changed when Dalot confronted Mikel Merino to give him the boot since Gabriel equalized two minutes later.
