Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister has invested £3.9 million in a new luxury home this summer as he begins his second season at Anfield.
The midfielder, currently representing Argentina at the Copa America, purchased the property from former Reds manager Brendan Rodgers, according to the Sun. Now the manager of Celtic, Rodgers took a £50,000 loss on the home he bought in 2022 while still at Leicester City.
Located on an exclusive street in Wilmslow, Cheshire, the house was listed for sale last summer at £4.2 million, with a £200,000 price reduction in January. The 25-year-old Mac Allister seems to have snagged an even better deal.
The Liverpool star will face a 40-mile commute to Melwood for training under new manager Arne Slot but will enjoy ample comfort in his new five-bedroom residence. The luxurious property features a gym, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a bar area.
A description of the house states: “An exceptional double gable-fronted contemporary residence finished to an uncompromising standard located on one of Wilmslow’s most prestigious roads.”
Mac Allister’s impressive home, reportedly purchased in May, includes a ‘beautiful Siematic kitchen & central island,’ a ‘lavish principal suite & dressing room,’ and ‘impressive bathroom suites.’
The mansion also boasts CCTV, underfloor heating, air conditioning, and electronically operated blinds, not to mention ceiling speakers.
Additionally, planning permission has been granted for ‘leisure facilities’ to be built on the property.
However, Mac Allister likely hasn’t spent much time at home since finalizing the deal. Shortly after the season ended, the Argentina international had to report for international duty ahead of the Copa America in the United States.
