Calls have been made for Declan Rice to go with Chelsea instead of Arsenal or Liverpool.
According to football.london, Arsenal is putting a priority on making a move for Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham United, despite reports that he has been linked with both Chelsea and Liverpool. The Reds are currently going through a period of change after having a season that was full of highs and lows in terms of their performance.

The Reds could want to reinforce their midfield, particularly in light of Fabinho’s less-than-impressive performance as of late. This is one area where the Reds could try to improve. In light of this, the club might be considering Rice and other players like him as possible targets for a transfer.
The fact that Rice, who is English, has confessed that he would like to move to a club that plays football in the Champions League as soon as possible lends credence to the rumors that he will be leaving the club he is currently at. Given that the player’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024 (according to Transfermarkt), this summer would be extremely important in assisting David Moyes in securing a large number of money for the player.

On the other hand, if he played for Chelsea, he would have greater leeway to do anything he wanted. If he were playing with some of the finest players in the world in front of him, his only responsibility would be to win the ball and get it moving as quickly as possible. Instead, Chelsea needs him to participate in the game right now.

Despite the fact that he did not specifically address Liverpool, one could make the case that the Reds are one of the teams that would benefit the most from having him on their roster. The 24-year-old is a proven star in the Premier League with a high potential, and he could very well waltz into Liverpool’s Starting XI if given the opportunity.
In addition, Fabinho has been one of Liverpool’s most significant players over the course of the past several seasons, but he has not been performing as well as he often does as of late. This season, the Brazilian midfielder has had a difficult time finding his footing, and as a result, Liverpool have suffered as a result. In light of the fact that the Reds are in the midst of a period of transition, it is necessary to acquire a new midfielder such as Rice or, for that matter, Jude Bellingham in order to lessen the load that the rest of the squad must bear.
Rice won’t come cheap, and the Reds are well aware of this fact. If there’s one thing the Reds are aware of, it’s this. Because the Reds are also keeping an eye on Bellingham, it is possible that it will come down to a matter of possibilities and priorities; in this regard, Jude stands out.

The Reds could certainly use some additional midfielders at the club right this very second; however, if we were to be able to get both of them for a price that was affordable, it would be a win-win situation for the Reds. Jordan Henderson and James Milner aren’t young guns. The way Fabinho plays sometimes gets out of hand. To put it as simply as is humanly possible, the other midfielders are not up to the task, and Thiago has a terrible propensity for getting injured.
In conclusion, it is possible that Chelsea will be an appealing option for the young midfielder due to his history of playing for them in the past. However, Liverpool would have high hopes that Rice will see the potential in joining the Reds and assisting them in regaining their former glory if he chooses to join a team.
