Bruno Fernandes and David De Gea crash with Anthony Elanga at Cheshire Cafe as Manchester United stars pose for selfies with fans

The Red Devils’ players decided to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Juniper Café in Hale Village, Cheshire, following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace. Unexpectedly, they ran into their teammate, Anthony Elanga, who was at the café with two friends.

As one of his buddies joined in the fun, Elanga took a photo of the two football players with another friend. Fernandes and De Gea were dressed in sweaters and black coats to match the chilly weather, while Elanga sported a bright green hoodie with a stylish white design along the sleeves.

De Gea made an incredible save in the first half of the match at Selhurst Park, which could be considered one of the best of the season. This set the stage for Fernandes to score the first goal shortly after Cristiano Eriksen assisted him. However, Michael Olise’s stunning free kick hit the post just before the end of the game, equalizing the score.

Elanga hasn’t had as many chances as his teammates this season. The 20-year-old last played in the Carabao Cup against Charlton and is expected to remain on the bench for Sunday’s game against Arsenal. Casemiro, United’s standout player, received a yellow card at Selhurst Park and will be unavailable for the match.

The French national team, after defeating Brighton in a thrilling penalty shootout at Wembley, will compete in the FA Cup final in June. Since Roberto De Zerbi included Mitoma in the starting lineup, he has enjoyed an impressive season at Brighton, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists in 31 appearances.

Mitoma faced challenges against Wan-Bissaka on Sunday night, despite having battled some of the top full-backs in the Premier League. The former Crystal Palace player made several crucial tackles on Mitoma during the match. “He’s as good as anyone” in one-on-one situations, Rio Ferdinand praised Wan-Bissaka’s performance.

At the beginning of the season, Wan-Bissaka struggled with injuries and illness, which led to a lack of favor with coach Ten Hag. However, he has become a regular starter since Diogo Dalot, who initially played right-back, lost form during the World Cup and switched to left-back on Sunday.

Although Wan-Bissaka can extend his contract for another year, his current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2024. The right-back is eager to stay for an additional year. “My intention has always been to stay, but when I wasn’t in the team, I just wanted to play,” Wan-Bissaka told the Daily Telegraph. “Everyone loves playing, and it brings me joy.”

“I would have done anything to get back on the field at that time. I’ve been happy here since I first arrived. I’ve worked for that, and I will continue to do so.”
