Garcia’s goal against Leganes was his first for the senior team, despite the fact that he has scored 19 goals for Castilla this season.

With 19 games left, Garcia is on track to surpass Mariano Díaz’s record of 25 goals in a single season for Castilla, which was set in the 2015–2016 campaign.
