Nicky Butt has been seen in public for the first time since a police investigation was initiated into an alleged head-butt at his 50th birthday celebration.

The Manchester United legend turned 50 on January 21 and hosted a lunch event at Soho Farmhouse near Great Tew, Oxfordshire, three days later.

The gathering was attended by the Beckhams, along with Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, and their partners, all of whom left shortly after the incident reportedly occurred.

Authorities are said to be questioning witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage from the event, where a security guard was allegedly head-butted, resulting in a suspected broken nose.

Twelve days after the alleged incident, Butt was spotted walking through the streets of Cheshire with former United teammate Roy Keane.

Butt was dressed in dark blue jeans and white trainers, complemented by a navy jumper, body warmer, and jacket.

Butt was seen enjoying a stroll with Keane, who wore a green baseball cap, coat, and light blue jeans.

The pair appeared relaxed as they chatted before parting ways.

Meanwhile, the police investigation into the events at Soho Farmhouse is ongoing.

According to reports, a group of 30 people moved from a private room to the bar area, with the incident occurring between 7 PM and 8 PM. A man reportedly confronted a security guard after being seen urinating against a wall.

It’s alleged that the man then head-butted the guard, with police being notified at 9:15 PM, two hours after the incident.

The pair seemed in a relaxed mood before going their separate ways

The security guard was taken to the hospital for treatment and has reportedly taken time off work to recover, having provided a statement to the police.

The Beckhams are said to have left shortly after the incident, as they own a £12 million estate nearby, while Neville and Butt were driven back to Manchester.

There has been no indication that any of the celebrities present were involved in the altercation.

A police spokesperson confirmed: “An assault at a business premises in Great Tew was reported to Thames Valley Police at about 9:15 PM on January 24. It is alleged that a man assaulted a member of security.”

“Thames Valley Police is conducting a thorough investigation, including taking a statement from and supporting the victim, obtaining and reviewing any available CCTV, and taking witness statements. No arrests have been made at this time.”
