The referee immediately awarded the penalty without bothering to examine VAR.
Was that the right call, though?
Replays imply that things aren’t quite so straightforward.
Ceballos appears to have committed the foul prior to the box’s edge. At least that’s what a lot of Real Madrid supporters think.
I think this is absurd. Never a pen.
