In the FA Youth Cup, Manchester United’s Under-18 team defeated Chelsea 5-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Chido Obi, who then performed Marcus Rashford’s signature celebration.
After scoring his second goal at Leigh Sports Village on Wednesday, Obi, 17, who was once again United’s hero, mimicked Rashford by pointing to his temple.

As United defeated Chelsea to get to the quarterfinals, the Danish youth international again demonstrated his abilities.
After the Blues had taken the lead, he tied the score with a first-time finish after latching onto a Jaydan Kamason through pass.
After being set up by Gabriele Biancheri, Obi then gave United a 4-1 lead. Shortly after the hour, he completed his hat-trick by jumping on a loose ball in the box and scoring.
Obi honored the banished star after his fourth goal of the evening, while Rashford, who was on loan at Aston Villa until the end of the season, frequently led the celebration after scoring for United.
A United victory forced a quarterfinal matchup with Obi’s old team, Arsenal.
His hat-trick increased his FA Youth Cup goal total to seven this season, and it might have further highlighted his skill to Ruben Amorim at a time when United’s main team is having trouble scoring.
Last summer, Obi moved from Arsenal to United. He made just 20 appearances for the Gunners’ Under-18 team during his tenure, but he scored a record-breaking 32 goals.
He broke the previous record set by Folarin Balogun last season, scoring more goals than any other Arsenal player at that level in a single campaign.
Obi scored ten goals in a single match for Arsenal Under-16s against Liverpool last season.
