Anthony continued his stellar Real Betis campaign in the Europa Conference League by scoring against Gent.
The 24-year-old Manchester United failure went on loan to the Spanish squad in January after having trouble finding playing time at Old Trafford.
Last Saturday, the Brazilian scored in just his second Betis match against Celta Vigo after dishing out an assist in his debut.
He continued his comeback tonight by scoring a stunning goal to put his loan team ahead in Belgium.
Just one minute into the second half, the winger received the ball on the right flank.
Then he moved into the house and shot into the bottom corner.
Supporters of Antony’s goal swiftly expressed their thoughts online.
“United was the problem,” someone commented.
“Now it is evident that United destroys every player,” shouted another.
A third wrote, “It’s crazy what confidence can do to a player.”
Then another person declared, “Prime Antony is back.”
Real Betis CEO Ramon Alcaron has already admitted that his group is thinking on extending Antony’s loan contract.
