Salah met with Egypt’s national team members in Cairo on Friday to discuss the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Malawi. He visited his family before joining his teammates in preparation for the AFCON qualifiers.
Mohammed Salah has netted 49 goals for Egypt’s national team in 87 appearances.
Egypt currently sits at the bottom of Group D after two matches in the AFCON qualifiers and needs to defeat Malawi in a two-legged playoff to enhance their chances of qualifying for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year.
