SLOT’S MACHINE: ‘That’s wild’ say fans as Liverpool star Mo Salah is spotted leaving arcades on Blackpool Pier after a rare day off

FOOTBALL fans were shocked after spotting Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah on Blackpool Pier earlier this week.

The 32-year-old was seen exiting an arcade while enjoying a day out.

Salah was accompanied by his security detail at the amusement park.

Supporters couldn’t believe their eyes when they noticed the winger had decided to take a rare afternoon off to visit Blackpool.

One fan took to social media to comment: “That’s wild!”

Another joked: “Signed for Blackpool as he couldn’t handle the ‘Pier Pressure’ at Liverpool.”

A third remarked: “Egyptian king goes where he wants.”

While a fourth quipped: “Mo Salah to Blackpool, THERE WE LAND!”

Blackpool Pier is a classic symbol of British summer holidays.

Among the attractions at the seaside resort are arcade games, a carousel, waltzers, dodgems, and a bouncy slide.

Salah’s trip to the seaside comes with his Liverpool future uncertain as his contract is set to expire in June.

Last month, he told Sky Sports: “This is the first time I would say I really want to win the Premier League [over the Champions League].”

Mo Salah responded to Jamie Carragher after the Liverpool legend urged him to ‘take a leaf out of Virgil van Dijk’s book.’

“Why? Probably because we didn’t celebrate the last one we won the way we wanted, and also since it’s my last year at the club, I want to do something special for the city.”

When asked to clarify his statement, Salah added: “Do I really believe it’s my last year? So far, yes.”

“These last six months show nothing, no progress. We are far from progress, but we just need to wait and see.”
