Ruben Amorim RESPONDS Garnacho as the Argentine walks straight down the tunnel after BEING substituted after just 45 minutes in United’s 3-2 win over Ipswich Town😱

Only forty-five minutes into United’s 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town, Alejandro Garnacho walked straight down the tunnel after being replaced by Noussair Mazraoui. Ruben Amorim said he will “talk to” Garnacho.

Following Patrick Dorgu’s red card, which left the home team with just 10 men for most of the match, the 20-year-old was substituted out during a reshuffle.

Jaden Philogene capitalized on a disastrous miscommunication between Dorgu and goalkeeper Andre Onana to tap in and silence Old Trafford to start the frenetic Premier League match.

Referee Darren England reviewed the pitchside monitor on the VAR’s recommendation, and after United took the lead through an own goal and a Matthijs de Ligt attempt, the Dane was sent out for a poor challenge on Omari Hutchinson.

Philogene’s cross slipped by Onana to give Ipswich a goal shortly before halftime, but Harry Maguire’s header seconds into the second half was plenty for Amorim to secure just his sixth league victory as manager.

Shortly after the match, the Argentina international shared a forlorn photo of himself trudging through the rain on Instagram.

About Garnacho’s choice to go down the tunnel, Amorim remarked, “It was cold and wet, maybe.” We were supposed to play more in the 5-3-1.

“I understand that there is a danger because you can be taking the only player with a one-on-one speed, but I thought the team was doing well in managing the game, nearly at halftime.

The substitution is then made. It was my decision because we had to decide who we would go out with and consider the set pieces as well.

When Amorim was later asked if he was upset with Garnacho, the United manager mentioned Marcus Rashford, who had just gone on loan to Aston Villa.

“I take it that you’re connecting with Rashford? He said, “I know, I know.”

“I’m going to discuss that with Garnacho, of course, so if you’d like, I can discuss it at the next press conference.”

The Portuguese manager was as outspoken in supporting Dorgu, claiming that he made a mistake and didn’t intend to “harm anybody.”

The Portuguese stated, “Everyone thought, ‘here we go again,’ when they watched that ball. However, sometimes football is like that, and we managed to fight through every situation during the game and believe we truly deserve the three points today.”

In the first instance, there was a miscommunication about how they relate to one another.

“After the farewell, what matters most is that I know Dorgu very well. I like the fact that he doesn’t wish to hurt anyone.

Then there is this circumstance. After that error, it seemed like he was trying to win every ball, making a lot of runs, and being aggressive—sometimes going overboard—and he is having issues now.
