Steven Gerrard celebrated his daughter Lilly’s 20th birthday on Friday by sharing a sweet baby photo and a heartfelt message on Instagram. The 43-year-old former footballer turned manager wrote: “Happy birthday, @lilly.gerrardd. I hope your day is just as amazing as you are to me. 20!”
Lilly’s mother, Alex, 41, also posted a photo of their influencer daughter on her private Instagram account, which Lilly later shared with her 211,000 followers in her Stories. Alex wrote, “Happy birthday, my precious doll. Have a wonderful day. I always love you.”
The couple has four children together: three daughters—Lilly, Lexie (17), and Lourdes (12)—and a son, Lio (7). Lilly’s birthday celebration comes after Alex garnered attention for her decision to live in Bahrain while Steven manages a football team in Saudi Arabia, which many considered a “tactical masterstroke” against rival WAGs.
While some WAGs living in Saudi Arabia have complained about cultural restrictions, Alex seems to be thriving in Bahrain, enjoying what friends describe as her “dream life” in Manama, the capital, just an hour’s drive from Dammam, where Gerrard leads Al Ettifaq.
Gerrard, who earns £15 million per year, making him one of the highest-paid football coaches in the world, frequently travels across the causeway connecting Bahrain and Saudi Arabia for work. The family resides in a luxurious six-bedroom villa in Hamala, which costs nearly £10,000 per month and includes amenities such as a swimming pool, tennis court, and games room.
Their youngest children attend one of Bahrain’s most exclusive English language schools, which ranks among the world’s top 100 and costs over £11,000 annually. Additionally, Gerrard and his family enjoy free memberships at two prestigious health clubs located in the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton Hotels.
As Lilly turns 20, the family continues to embrace the luxurious lifestyle that comes with Steven’s successful football career, while also navigating the unique challenges of living in the Gulf region.
