Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool star, has officially left home after purchasing a stunning £2.6 million mansion in Hale, Cheshire. Despite joining the Premier League three years ago, the 20-year-old England defender had long lived with his parents.
His new residence is a beautiful five-bedroom property, located in an area where his neighbors include Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. Trent bought the house in March, financing it with a mortgage from Coutts, the Queen’s Bank.
Having grown up near the club’s training grounds, Trent joined Liverpool at the age of six. He made his Premier League debut in December 2016 but chose to remain at home with his parents and brothers during his early career.
In an interview last year, he expressed the importance of family in his life, saying, “It’s just a really close family. They are against my departure because I believe that many young athletes leave too soon.” He went on to reflect on young athletes who, after earning decent money, move out too early, often leading to challenges.
“My mother and family want to keep a close eye on me; they don’t want things getting into my head. I think I’ll be stuck here for the time being until we all reach a general agreement that I have enough to move out,” he shared.
Trent also emphasized the role of his close circle, stating, “The people I surround myself with, my family and friends, allow me to keep my feet firmly on the ground and not get too big-headed.”
