It is essential to comprehend Rwanda’s past and the events that took place here. “I am thankful that the country is at this time peaceful,” he said.

He started his tour of the facilities by traveling to the Peace Stadium, which can hold 40,000 people but is now being renovated to hold only 25,000.

The defender then proceeded to see the AS Kigali youth team, which is made up of kids under twenty.

They were training and working out on the field at the Kigali Pele Stadium, previously Tapis Rouge in Nyamirambo, when he paid them a visit.

Jurrien Timber, 22, went to the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Gisozi as well.

After learning about the history of the country and the building of the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Timber bowed to the innocent people buried there.

As he showed Timber portions of the Kigali Memorial, he described the beginnings and implementation of the Genocide Plot. It illustrates how Rwandans have come together after a challenging past.
